The Veterans Empowerment
Organization of Georgia, Inc. will strive to be one of our community's
most respected and admired organizations and will dedicate itself to
serving the needs of veterans who are poor and homeless in Georgia.
The Veterans Empowerment
Organization will be a place of hope where our community's natural
abundance of compassion and resources can come together to embrace those
veterans who are neglected, sick, hungry, and otherwise have no place to
turn. Our goal is to provide food and shelter to veterans who are
in extreme poverty as well as those who are merely struggling with hard
economic times. The Organization is working to develop housing and other
programs to help homeless veterans make the transition from living on
the streets to living as productive citizens.
Our goal is to be
nationally recognized as a leader in the fight against homelessness. The
Veterans Empowerment Organization of Georgia wants to be among the most
successful such organization in the country. To achieve that
distinction, we are working to ensure that the organization gets off to
the best possible start.
Our goal is to end
chronic homelessness in Georgia, starting with homeless veterans. We are
confident that the help of the community our organization will be able
to achieve this goal. The Veterans Empowerment Organization of Georgia
aims to rebuild the lives of veterans who have been shattered by war
injuries and are now not simply disadvantaged but among the outcasts of
society. Our expertise in serving the needs of hardest-to-reach segment
of the homeless population and our partnerships with other human
services organizations make The Veterans Empowerment Organization of
Georgia, Inc. uniquely qualified to lead this effort.
Together, we can change
lives forever. The Veterans Empowerment Organization of Georgia’s
“End Homelessness Now” campaign will make this goal a reality. I
urge you to join The Veterans Empowerment Organization as we work to
make our community a better, more caring and more compassionate place
for homeless veterans in our state.
Sincerely,
